Iceland - June 2019 (In Progress)

Iceland.  The whole country feels eternal, where the building blocks of the universe came together and are still here, patient.  From Reykajvik, we’ll travel part of the Ring Road, counterclockwise, seeing so many vistas, so much rock, so few people.  On one side, the North Atlantic.  On the other, mountains, glaciers, rivers, rock.  Pristine and well put-together, with as minimal human influence as possible.  Glaciers spill into rivers that go where they wish; resistance is futile.  Sheep wander, carrying a load of warmth wherever they go.  Waterfalls by the hundreds, changing the landscape ever so slowly, each one adapting to it’s terrain.  And a sky that drifts to the beginning of time.  It may be the most beautiful time and place in the universe.  At least, I think it’s where it all started.
